Delete your Arbo account
You can delete your account —and all of your data— straight from the app, without asking anyone for permission:
From the app (recommended)
- Open Arbo and go to Settings → Your profile.
- Scroll down to the "Delicate zone".
- Tap "Delete my account" and confirm twice.
What gets deleted
- If you are an invited caregiver: your account, your profile photos and your messages. The children and their memories belong to the family and stay with it.
- If you are the main account and the last person in the family: the whole household is deleted — the children's profiles, their health, their photos, their locations, the conversations and the family itself. Forever, with no recycle bin.
- The server's technical backups rotate and disappear within 30 days at most.
If you are the main account and there are still caregivers in your family, the app will ask that each of them delete theirs first: that way nobody can lock up the house with people inside.
If you can no longer sign in
First try "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in screen: you will get a code by email. If you still cannot get in, write to us at privacy@arbofamily.com from your account's email address asking for deletion, and we will carry it out within 30 days at most, confirming it to you the same way.
